What is an Accredited Agency Approved Family Day Home?

The Beaver Family Day Home Agency is licensed and accredited by the CFSA to contract with individuals to provide child care in their own homes. The Agency is responsible for the administration and delivery of the program. These services include provider recruitment, selection, training, and monitoring; assistance to parents with choosing a home; placement or enrolment of children in homes; collection of parent fees; and payment of providers.

Providers are required to possess a clear criminal record check, CYIM (Child and Youth Information Module) check, physicians note, home safety check, and three positive personal references. Providers are monitored (a minimum of once per month) and are required to follow policies and standards set by the Child and Family Services Authority.
